IDABO strongly encourages all code officials to engage in the code development and change processes updates. IDABO actively engages with the Department of Professional Licensing and other state agencies offering direction. We remain a prominent voice of the building industry in Idaho. IDABO has developed this page for your knowledge. We hope you find these links useful. We strive to keep information up to date but always encourage contacting your local building department.

ICC Resources

The International Code Council is the leading global source of codes, standards and building safety solutions.

IDABO is an ICC Preferred Provider and is dedicated to offering approved educational opportunities relating to building codes and standards.  We provide easily accessible in-person and virtual trainging events for individuals promoting public health and safety in the Idaho’s building and construction industry.

IDABO is also a member of the Region II ICC Chapter
