OPPORTUNITIES TO LEAD

Creating opportunities to maximize leadership skills for future success.

IDABO diligently works to create and offer multiple platforms in growing the skills needed to become an effective leader.  Leadership roles within the organization and at the state and local level are continually being presented to our members, so that we may foster the next generation of public-safety professionals.

OPPORTUNITIES TO CONTRIBUTE

Contributing industry expertise to ensure a safer tomorrow

Contributing IDABO members have assisted in evaluating, establishing and improving reasonable code enforcement. Members of IDABO also collaborate with trailblazing organizations and government agencies, concerned about the safety of the people who live and work in the structures around our great state.

OPPORTUNITIES TO NETWORK

Exchanging Ideas and Best Practices.

IDABO provides in-person and virtual professional networking opportunities, where members are able to exchange information with other professionals in building code enforcement.  These forums allow for open discussion on uniformity, exchange of ideas and best practices.

MEMBERSHIP ONLY DISCOUNTS

Bringing our members numerous exclusive discounts.

Members receive special rates to IDABO sponsored educational conferences and networking events.  We are also working on programs that will offer even more member discounts to additional training events and resources.

LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION

Representing code officials on state and local levels.

We closely monitor legislation affecting codes administration and public safety. IDABO has a dedicated lobbyist, who in conjunction with the IDABO Legislative Committee, provides governmental affairs representation at the State Capitol, the Division of Professional Licensing Building Code Code Board, and building industry policy forums.
