Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on the Building Industry. The promise of this new generation of Artificial Intelligence software is that it has all the answers. The reality is that there is great opportunity in Large Language Model (LLM) applications, but it comes with unique challenges, especially if it is trying to be a resource for building and safety codes. This session will cover those challenges both from the perspective of a user trying to evaluate and utilize AI tools for building codes, and from the view of those on the software side trying to build and train those tools.
