Energy Storage Residential – Chapter 15 including and Storage/Collection Areas

The Idaho Association of Building Officials is pleased to host a virtual Lunch & Learn on Energy Storage – Residential Units: Chapter 15, where participants will earn 1 ICC Continuing Education Credit (0.1 CEU).

This session builds on the fundamentals of battery energy storage systems and NFPA 855, with a focus on Chapter 15 and battery storage and collection areas. Participants will explore the unique risks, safety considerations, and mitigation strategies associated with battery storage and collection, while also examining residential energy storage requirements addressed in Chapter 15 of NFPA 855.
