JOB OPPORTUNITY
BEAR LAKE COUNTY HAS AN OPENING FOR A BUILDING INSPECTOR
Full time position with benefits, retirement, steady hours, and paid holidays. Starting wage will be $29.50 per hour.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Receiving applications, reviewing construction documents and issuing permits, inspecting buildings being built or altered and enforcing compliance with the International Building Code. Additionally the Building Official shall serve as secretary for the Bear Lake County Planning and Zoning board.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in construction. Ability to educate about and enforce building codes. Good scheduling, organization, and computer skills. Have or be able to obtain ICC certifications after hire.
